Dr Green will utilise two major facilities for the supply of cannabis. These facilities are owned by the holding company responsible for Dr Green, Upcann Lda.
Biocant park: pioneering genomics sequencing in cannabis research

Overview

At Biocant Park, our state-of-the-art research and development laboratory, we specialize in the cutting-edge field of genomics sequencing of cannabis. This advanced facility represents a major investment in the future of cannabis research, with €35 million allocated to ensure it’s equipped with the latest technology and resources.

Focus on Genomics Sequencing

Our primary focus is on experimenting with new cannabis strains, delving into their genetic makeup to understand and enhance their capabilities. Genomics sequencing allows us to identify specific genetic markers and traits that can be optimized for medical and recreational use.

Advanced Equipment — The HPLC Machine

A centerpiece of our laboratory is the High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) machine. This sophisticated instrument is crucial for analyzing the cannabinoid profile of cannabis, including CBD, CBG, and THC content. Its advanced features include:

Auto Sampler

This component allows for the simultaneous analysis of multiple samples, significantly increasing our laboratory’s efficiency and throughput.

Precise Detection

TThe HPLC machine offers high precision in detecting and quantifying the cannabinoid content, ensuring consistent quality in our products.

Commitment to Quality and Innovation

Our team of skilled pharmacists and scientists work tirelessly to push the boundaries of technology in the cannabis industry. Their expertise is pivotal in pioneering new methods and approaches for cannabis research and product development.

Impact and Goals

Investing in Biocant Park is not just about enhancing our current product range. It’s about leading the industry towards a more scientific and evidence-based approach. Our goal is to introduce some of the highest quality cannabis on the market, backed by rigorous scientific research and innovative practices.

Conclusion

Biocant Park is more than a laboratory; it’s a hub of innovation and excellence in cannabis genomics research. Our commitment to advanced technologies, combined with an expert team’s expertise, positions us at the forefront of the cannabis industry, paving the way for new discoveries and superior products.
Qanali: A State-of-the-Art Indoor Cannabis Facility

Introduction

Qanali stands as a testament to ourcommitment to innovation in the cannabis industry. This indoor facility is not just a cultivation center but a hub of research and development, equipped with cutting-edge technology to revolutionize the growth and processing of cannabis.

Research and Development Lab

A significant feature of Qanali is its smaller yet highly specialized R&D lab. Here, our focus is on experimenting with various cannabis strains to assess their market viability. This facility plays a crucial role in advancing our understanding of strain characteristics and potential applications.

Nursery and Mothering Room

Nursery

Dedicated to housing our diverse strain samples, the nursery is where new varieties begin their journey.

Mothering Room

This space is crucial for maintaining and nurturing the mother plants, ensuring a consistent and healthy genetic lineage for our crops.

Flowering Rooms

Qanali boasts two expansive flowering rooms, each with a height of 6 meters. This design allows for three levels of crop per room, maximizing space efficiency and yield.

These rooms are the heart of our cultivation process, where plants reach their flowering stage under optimal conditions.

Processing Facility

Once harvested, the cannabis undergoes several processes in our on-site facility, including

Drying

Weighing

Trimming

Packaging

This ensures that our cannabis is prepared with the utmost care and precision, ready for final delivery.

Advanced Sensory Technology

The entire facility is equipped with the latest sensors to monitor and record critical parameters such as temperature, humidity, lighting, and chemical composition. These sensors track personnel movement within the rooms, enhancing security and operational efficiency.

Integration with Regulatory and Information Systems

ARP System

This advanced reporting protocol is responsible for communicating all necessary information to INFARMED, the regulatory body overseeing cannabis operations.

DAPP (Dr. Green’s Application)

A specialized software where all vital information from the factory is compiled and published, providing transparency and insights into our operations.

Yield

This facility has an output capacity of 7 tons of cannabis flower per year.

Conclusion

Qanali is more than just an indoor cannabis facility; it is a beacon of modern agricultural technology and a cornerstone of our research efforts. By blending sophisticated cultivation techniques with rigorous scientific research, we not only meet but exceed industry standards, ensuring the delivery of high-quality cannabis products.
